The Aveda Nail Technology Curriculum

Our comprehensive Nail Technology program is designed to help you create a future as a skilled nail technician. You could complete the Aveda Institute Las Vegas nail technology course in as little as five months. Not only do we prepare you to sit for the state board licensure exam during that time, but we also help you build the skills you need to succeed after you graduate.

You can learn the art and science of nail care while gaining hands-on experience in a real salon environment working with a diverse clientele. From perfecting technical skills to mastering time management and business skills, our nail tech curriculum can help prepare you for a future career in the nail industry.

What You Can Experience in Our Nail Technology Program

Our nail technology program is designed to help you build the technical knowledge and client skills you need to succeed as a nail technician. You’ll learn how to do the latest nail art trends, provide manicures and pedicures, and create nail art from photos online.

But our course also offers ample opportunities to work with real clients in our student nail spa! You’ll meet with real clients and discuss available services, then provide them with an incredible experience as you create their look. It’s all done under the supervision of supportive, experienced instructors who can help you hone your skill set and build your confidence and you prepare to sit for the state licensing exam.

Our team will contact you when we receive your information. Then, we can sit down with you to create a personalized financial plan for your training. You may be eligible for grants, loans, scholarships, and more.

How long does it take to complete the nail technology course?

You can complete the nail technology course in as little as five months! With 600 hours of training, the program is designed to help you build your skills quickly so you can pursue a future working as a nail tech. The exact duration of the training may depend on your schedule and start date. New courses are forming throughout the year, so talk to our admissions team to find the right start date for you.

How much is nail technology training?

Our nail technology program is a total of $9,470, which includes:

Enrollment Fee $150
Kit & Supplies Fee (non-refundable) $1,195

What job placement support do you offer?

Job placement is not guaranteed by Aveda Institute Las Vegas. However, we offer resources that can support you during your career search. You can participate in job fairs, check the job board for local salons and spa openings, and attend professional development training. Our team can also support you with resume writing and interview preparation. We want to help you succeed in a career as a nail technician!

How to Enroll in Our Nail Technology Program

Ready to take the first steps toward a career in nail technology? Here’s how to start the admissions process:

Attend a career planning session. Schedule time with our team to view our facility and meet our team. After your tour, you’ll meet with a member of the admissions team who will help you develop a career plan and find the right program to suit your future goals.
Complete your application. After your tour, you can complete the admissions application and return it with all the necessary paperwork and a $25 nonrefundable application fee. Our admissions team will be available to answer any questions.
Build a financial plan (optional). Finances shouldn’t stop you from going to nail school. Our financial aid advisors can help you create a custom financial aid plan through grants, loans, scholarships, and payment plans. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
