That’s why we are here to guide you through the financial aid process and help you discover the options to help make your beauty education more affordable. From federal grants to private scholarships, there are a variety of resources that can help support your journey.
Federal Grants
Federal grants can help you fund your education without requiring you to repay the money. They are typically awarded based on financial need and include options like the Pell Grant.
Federal Loans
Federal loans allow you to borrow money at a low interest rate with flexible repayment options. There are different types of loans available:
- Direct subsidized loans: Need-based, the government pays the interest while you are enrolled in school.
- Direct unsubsidized loans: Available to all eligible students, these loans start accruing interest immediately.
- Parent PLUS loans: Parents of dependent students can apply for these loans.
Private Scholarships
These awards could be merit-based, need-based, or focused on your career goal. Our team can recommend resources to help you search for these opportunities online.
Private Loans
Private loans can help bridge the gap between federal aid and the total cost of your education. Banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions offer these loans. They often require a credit check.
VA Benefits
We’re proud to support veterans and their families through VA education benefits. Our team can help eligible students navigate the VA benefits process to ensure they receive the support they’ve earned.

FAQs About Financial Aid at Aveda Institute Las Vegas
Do you offer payment plans?
We want to ensure your tuition is completely handled so you can focus on your education. Full payment of your tuition and fees is due at the start of your program unless you’ve arranged an approved funding plan, such as federal financial aid. We accept cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, and payments from third parties. If you require other payment options, please speak to the financial aid team for approval from the institute owner.
How do I know if I'm eligible for financial aid?
The best way to determine your eligibility is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) and insert our school code (041476). Once we receive your information, our team can review your options and help you create a personalized financial aid plan.
What happens if I'm not eligible for federal financial aid?
If you don’t qualify for federal financial aid, options are still available to help make your education more accessible. Private loans and scholarships may be options, for example. Our school also accepts credit card payments. Even if you think you won’t be eligible, it’s important to complete the FAFSA®. Once you’ve done that, it’s much easier for our financial aid team to help you review your options and create a financial plan.
