The Aveda Advanced Esthetics Curriculum

Learn how to innovate in the skincare industry. Advanced esthetics students learn how to deliver the in-demand treatments using the latest methods and tools in skincare. You’ll explore an immersive curriculum covering skincare, makeup artistry, hair removal, spa treatments, and more. With ample opportunity for hands-on experience in our student spa, you can hone your skincare skills and discover how to elevate guest experiences. While honing your technical skills, you can also learn about business and time management, which better prepares you for work in a professional spa setting.

How to Enroll in Our Advanced Esthetics Program

Ready to take the first steps toward a career in beauty and wellness? Here’s how to start the admissions process:

Attend a career planning session. Schedule time with our team to view our facility and meet our team. After your tour, you’ll meet with a member of the admissions team who will help you develop a career plan and find the right program to suit your future goals.
Complete your application. After your tour, you can complete the admissions application and return it with all the necessary paperwork and a $25 nonrefundable application fee. Our admissions team will be available to answer any questions.
Build a financial plan (if needed). Money shouldn’t stop you from starting esthetics school. Our financial aid advisors can help you create a custom financial aid plan through grants, loans, scholarships, and payment plans. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

What's the difference between the esthiology and advanced esthetics courses?

Both the Esthiology and Advanced Esthetics courses offer a potential pathway to a future in skincare and beauty. However, they are best suited for different career goals. If you are interested in a career as a makeup artist, skincare consultant, or another position in a salon or spa, then the esthiology program may be right for you.

If you are interested in providing advanced skincare techniques that require using tools like lasers in a medspa or similar environment, then you’ll want to explore the Advanced Esthetics course. You don’t have to decide on your own, though. Schedule a career planning session with our team, and we can learn about your career goals and help you find the right course.

Do you offer financial aid?

Absolutely! Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to get started. Once we get your information, our team will work with you to create a personalized financial plan for the course. Options may include grants, loans, scholarships, and other resources to make your career goals a reality.

How long does it take to complete the advanced esthetics course?

You can complete the Advanced Esthetics course in as little as 30 weeks! Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and new sessions start throughout the year. Reach out to our team to learn more about upcoming start dates.
